Trying to come up with a Biblical explanation for what I believe about the differences between men and women was what really propelled me into creating this blog. Of course there are lots of other things to talk about, but I really wanted to take this on to clarify my own beliefs about women's proper place in the world and in the Christian Church. The very idea that women should have a "place" distinct from that of men kind of grated on me, but I thought they did, and that they really have a different nature - but not a different value - from men. So I went back to Genesis and wrote five posts, taking me from Creation to the Fall, to Rebirth. I thought I would collect the links here in their proper order, rather than leave people to pick through the general blog archive. What I found was pretty interesting, and not where I expected to end up at all.

At the Bell n Pomegranate, I want to focus on things of the Spirit and how our beliefs inform our lives in this world. So settle in with a drink of new wine, and put your two cents in with mine. Just remember this is a publick house, and I expect a certain amount of civility; but that does not rule out controversy, nor even passion.
